This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
There's something odd about human behaviour. The hypocrisy continues to develop as soon as one gets closer. Religion included. If one was to find out information they have to ask, in order to know. In asking, the other party would have to know you or have some background information about you, would they not? People find it odd for strangers to ask questions about their personal life because they don't "know them". Who said anyone had to know people in order to question? Who do we really know in today's society? We all turn our backs to people when they aren't in need, but when they are in some form of trouble, we turn around to help. Should it not all be but the same regardless of circumstances. We should show that we care even when there isn't a problem, even when they may not need us. Being there is enough. Being there is something.
I find it more comforting to get information from strangers than from someone I am emotionally attached to, because there is no attachment. There is no need to try and trust them, the trust is already there, the confidence you have in them is already there, the confidence that they will give you the right answer, direct you down the right path. Nonetheless, there is always the slight off-chance that this stranger will invite you into their home and have their way with you.
Unlike friends who can trick you just as easily because they already have your trust and can toy with it whenever they please and brush it off as if it were nothing, because they are your friend.
They don't cherish the relationship like when they first did, when the relationship was new and untainted, when it was all about keeping that relationship for as long as you could, and being careful of what it is that you said.
I suppose I dislike the fact that friendship is so personal. And that people stop caring after a while because they don't think that they have to any more, because they figure the person already knows how much they mean to them. Which isn't true. Sometimes it is comforting to hear words from a familiar and to know hear and have how much you mean to them verbalised.
Birthdays are an excuse to tell them how much you mean to them. It shouldn't have to be an occasion either..
I shall cease this petty rambling that are only a few thoughts. -RR
You're welcome. Oh, and in regards to your comment on my hair, I don't think so. I'm honestly not sure. I'll make my hair big the next time I see you, just for your personal enjoyment. I appreciate the too.
